ความเปลี่ยนแปลง The Changes

1 มิถุนายน 2552 ข้าพเจ้าถูกเรียกให้บินเมืองมัมไบ ประเทศอินเดีย วานนี้ได้รับข่าวจากคุณเปิงจื่นว่า การก่อสร้างบ้านพักเด็กกำพร้ากำลังดำเนินการไปด้วยดี แต่ทางผู้ควบคุมการก่อสร้างจำเป็นต้องปรับเปลี่ยนวัสดุบางอย่าง นั่นคือ วัสดุมุงหลังคาเดิมข้าพเจ้าเคยพูดกับเมืองชื่นว่า อยากให้ใช้กระเบื้องลอนทั้งหลัง แต่สาเหตุที่จำเป็นต้องเปลี่ยนเป็นสังกะสีเนื่องจากน้ำหนักของวัสดุ กระเบื้องลอนมีน้ำหนักมาก เมื่อขนขึ้นไปบนดอยจะมีราคาเพิ่มขึ้นอีกหนึ่งเท่าตัว เสี่ยงต่อความเสียหายระหว่างการขนส่ง อีกประการสำคัญ ร้านวัสดุก่อสร้างมักไม่ยอมขนส่งให้ เนื่องจากถนนหนทางลำบากมาก ยิ่งปีนี้ฝนมาเร็วกว่าปีก่อนๆ ถนนขึ้นดอยบางช่วงเริ่มแปลสภาพเป็นโคลน การสัญจรไปมาลำบากมาก อีกอย่างหนึ่งที่ตั้งของบ้านพักเด็กกำพร้าค่อนข้างร่มรื่น มีต้นไม้ใหญ่รอบๆ คงจะช่วยบดบังแสงแดดไปได้มาก ข้าพเจ้าถามเรื่องงบประมาณที่ส่งให้งวดแรกว่าเพียงพอหรือไม่อย่างไร เมืองชื่นบอกว่า ไม่น่าจะมีปัญหาอะไร คาดว่าเพียงพอ ทางบนดอยใช้จ่ายอย่างประหยัดที่สุด ข้าพเจ้าเคยย้ำไปว่า ทุกบาททุกสตางค์คือหยาดเหงื่อแรงกายของเพื่อนร่วมงานของข้าพเจ้า ที่ต่างรวมแรงร่วมใจส่งความช่วยเหลือมาให้เด็กๆ ทุกคนอยากเห็นบ้านหลังน้อยของเด็กๆสำเร็จลงด้วยดี อยากเห็นเด็กๆมีความเป็นอยู่ดีขึ้น พักใกล้โรงเรียนมากขึ้น ข้าพเจ้าบอกเมืองชื่นว่า อาจได้พบกันราวต้นเดือนมิถุนายนนี้ หากข้าพเจ้าแลกงานผ่าน หาไม่แล้วคงต้องพบกันราวกลางเดือนไปเลย หากไม่สามารถแลกงานได้ เมืองชื่นบอกข้าพเจ้าว่า เขามีภารกิจในพื้นที่อื่น ซึ่งข้าพเจ้าจะไม่สามารถติดต่อเขาได้อีกจนกว่าจะถึงราวๆวันที่ 7 หรือ 8 มิถุนายน เพราะบริเวณที่เมืองชื่นไปนั้น ไม่มีสัญญาณโทรศัพท์มือถือ จนถึงวันที่ข้าพเจ้าเขียนบันทึกนี้ ข้าพเจ้ามีคำตอบให้ตัวเองแล้ว ว่าจะไม่ได้กลับบ้านและขึ้นไปเยี่ยมเด็กบนดอย จนกว่าจะถึงราวกลางเดือนมิถุนายน

1 June 2009,I was called on reserved duty to operate flight to Mumbai,India.Mr.Perngchuen reported to me yesterday that the construction of Orphanage Home has been smooth but some changes are inevitable.Tin sheets were chosen as roofing material as the location of the Orphanage home was shifted abit to make use of shade under trees.Material price would be doubled when it is transported to Sanju mountain and risk of being crack is very high.It is not easy to find construction material shop that agree to transport the stuff we ordered.The road to Sanju mountain become very muddy now since the start of rainny season in Thailand.I asked Mr.Merngchuen if the fund sent was sufficient.He told me that it should be enough so far.The construction of this Orphanage home was carfully budgeted as I mentioned to everyone involved in the construction that every single cent is from my collegue's sweat.Everyone who contribute to this project would like to see better living conditions of those orphan.I might be able to meet up with Mr.Merngchuen again around second week of June.He also need to do some task in certain area where there is no phone signal.I will not be able to reach him til 7 or 8 June 2009.Now,I have a clear answer to myself that I can not go home until the middle of June since I was called to Mumbai.

บ้านเด็กกำพร้ากำลังจะเป็นรูปเป็นร่าง Orphanage Home Is Being Built Now !!

วันนี้วันที่ 25 พฤษภาคม 2552 ฮ่องกงมีฝนตกติดต่อกันมาได้สามวันแล้ว ไม่รู้ว่าทางบนดอยจะเป็นอย่างไร เด็กๆตากฝนกันมั่งหรือเปล่า ข้าพเจ้าตั้งใจว่าจะหาเสื้อกันฝนไปแจกเด็กๆคราวหน้า นี่ก็เข้าฤดูฝนแล้ว ลำพังเด็กๆเดินจากบ้านมาโรงเรียนก็ไกลโขอยู่ ร่วมๆสองกิโลเมตรน่าจะได้
เจ้าหน้าที่ฝ่ายประสานงานระหว่างในตัวเมืองกับโรงเรียนบนดอย ( คุณเปิงจื่น 084-3640676 ) ติดต่อผมขณะที่ผมบินไปค้างที่กรุงเทพฯ รายงานเรื่องความคืบหน้าการก่อสร้างบ้านพักเด็กกำพร้าโรงเรียนบนดอยสามสิบ ขณะนี้ได้เบิกเงินก้อนแรกที่ข้าพเจ้าโอนไปให้ 75000 บาท เมื่อวันที่ 14 พฤษภาคม ที่ผ่านไป โดยเงินจำนวนนี้ ปัจจุบันได้เก็บไว้กับผู้ดูแลการก่อสร้างบนดอย การก่อสร้างดำเนินการมาจนถึงขั้นตอนการขึ้นเสาเรียบร้อยแล้ว และพร้อมที่จะมุงหลังคาในเร็ววันนี้
เมื่อครั้งที่ข้าพเข้าเดินทางกลับบ้านเมื่อสงกรานต์ที่ผ่านมา ได้พบปะกับคุณเมืองชื่นและพูดคุยกันเรื่องโครงการนี้ ข้าพเจ้าได้ขอให้ปรับเปลี่ยนวัสดุก่อสร้างบางอย่าง เช่นขอให้เปลี่ยนจากหลังคาสังกะสีเป็นกระเบื้องลอนแทน รู้สึกสงสารน้องหนูตัวน้อยหากอากาศร้อนขึ้นมา หน้าร้อนก็ร้อนเอาเรื่องเลยทีเดียว อีกอย่างหนึ่งที่อยากให้ปรับเปลี่ยนก็คือ ฝาผนังที่อยากให้ปรับเปลี่ยนจากไม้เป็นอิฐบล็อคสำหรับก่อสร้าง ข้าพเจ้าพยายามทุกวิถีทางที่จะช่วยอนุรักษ์ป่าไม้ไว้มากที่สุด คุณเมืองชื่นแจ้งให้ข้าพเจ้าทราบว่า ได้ถ่ายภาพการก่อสร้างบ้านไว้เป็นระยะๆตามที่ผมขอไว้ เนื่องจากจำเป็นที่จะต้องนำภาพขั้นตอนการก่อสร้างลงนำเสนอในเวบบล็อค www.helpschool.blogspot.com เป็นการให้ผู้ร่วมสมทบปัจจัยได้ทราบความเป็นไปของโครงการ

I have decided to change the way I write this blog as I was given some comments that it should be a diary type and many of my colleague don't like formal stuff( he he he ).It is 25 May 2009.It has been raining in Hong Kong for the last 3 days.If it was on the Sanju mountain where the orphanage home are being built,I can not imagine how tough it would be for those school kids as their home is some 2 k.m away from school.I intend to give out raincoats for them on my next visit.
I was informed by Mr.Perngchuen ( mobile phone 084-3640676 ),the school coordinator of Doi Samsip School ,during my layover in Bangkok,that he withdrew the fund of Thai baht 75,000 I transfered to his account on 14 May 2009.It is now kept with the construction overseer.The housepillars were erected and roof would be ready to be attached very soon.my last meeting with Mr.Merngchuen was during my annual leave,April 2009.I shared my concern regarding some specifications on building materials such as tin sheets for making roof and wood for making wall.I requested that tin sheets be changed to roof tiles,wood be changed to cement brick instead.I feel pity for those kids if they have to live under tin sheet roofed- house as summer could be very hot indeed.Using wood to make walls might also raise questions regarding environmental issue and would make this project questionable.Mr.Muerngchuen informed me that he took interval pictures of the building process as I requested.This is necessary to update in www.helpschool.blogspot.com so that to keep my collegues and donators informed of what is going on.

ผมอยากเชิญชวนพี่ๆเพื่อนๆ ท่านที่มีจิตเมตตาทุกท่านมีส่วนร่วมด้วยกันในการสร้างบ้านพักให้เด็กกำพร้าที่เรียนอยู่โรงเรียนบนดอยสามสิบ อ.ฝาง จ.เชียงใหม่ร่วมกัน เด็กๆที่เรียนที่นั่นเป็นเด็กจากชนเผ่าที่หลากหลาย ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเผ่าลาหู่ ปะหล่อง และคนไทยใหญ่ ซึ่งหลายรายที่ไม่ได้รับการลงทะเบียนสัญชาติ จึงไม่ได้รับสวัสดิการใดๆจากรัฐบาลไทยเหมือนเด็กนักเรียนในเมือง เนื่องจากไม่มีความชัดเจนในเรื่องสัญชาติและพื้นที่อันเป็นที่ตั้งของหมู่บ้านนั้นตั้งอยู่บนพื้นที่ที่เป็นชายแดนไทยและพม่า ดังนั้นกลุ่มคนเหล่านี้จะได้รับการปราบปรามจากกองทัพประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการข่มเหง ทารุณและบังคับใช้แรงงาน และมีจำนวนมากที่เสียชีวิต บางกลุ่มต้องหนีตายเพื่อเอาชีวิตรอดจึงเป็นที่มาของการพลาดพรากของลูกจากพ่อและแม่ สิ่งเหล่านี้เป็นไปตามนโยบายปราบปรามชนกลุ่มน้อยในพม่า เด็กกำพร้ากลุ่มที่ผมกล่าวถึงนี้ ปัจจุบันอาศัยอยู่กับชาวบ้านแบบกระจัดกระจายกันออกไป ทางโรงเรียนมีความคิดว่าอยากให้เด็กเหล่านี้มาอยู่รวมกันเพื่อง่ายต่อการปกครอง อบรมบ่มนิสัย ครับ ผมได้ติดต่อไปยังเจ้าหน้าที่ประสานงานของโรงเรียนเพื่อให้เขาประเมินราคาค่าก่อสร้างรวมวัสดุและค่าแรงครับ เรือนพักที่จะสร้างเป็นเรือนง่ายๆสร้างจากไม้กึ่งปูนครับ ในบ้านพักจะแบ่งเป็นห้องย่อยสำหรับแยกเด็กชายหญิงครับ ทางโรงเรียนแจ้งกลับมายังผมว่าจะใช้งบประมาณราว 75000 บาท ( เจ็ดหมื่นห้าพันบาท ) สำหรับการก่อสร้างบ้านพักเด็กกำพร้าหลังนี้ครับ ผมได้แจ้งไปทางโรงเรียนว่าจะพยายามระดมทุนไปช่วย แต่ก็ไม่มั่นใจว่าจะได้มากน้อยแค่ไหนครับ ผมมีแนวคิดว่า เมื่อก่อสร้างบ้านพักของพวกหนูน้อยเหล่านี้เสร็จแล้ว จะตั้งชื่อว่า บ้านนางฟ้า เพื่อให้เป็นที่ระลึกแก่เด็กๆว่า พี่ๆเหล่านางฟ้า แอร์โฮสเตส ชาวคาเธ่ย์แปซิฟิค สร้างมอบให้เด็กๆ ซึ่งพวกเขาก็เป็นเหล่านางฟ้าตัวน้อยๆของพวกเราเช่นกัน ส่วนเขตของเด็กผู้ชายอาจตั้งชื่อว่า บ้านเทวดาน้อย พวกเขาเป็นเทวดาน้อยของเรานี่ครับใช่ไหม

Let's build a house for orphan together !!!

I would like to invite you to take part in building a little house for a group of orphan studying at Doi Sam Sip school,Fang district,Chiang Mai,Thailand.A number of these students are displaced and undocumented ethnic people such as Lahu,Palaung and Shan.Unlike Thai students in town,these kids do not receive any schooling benefits from government due to their undocumented status in nationality.Some of these children are separated from their parents because they previously lived in a war-torn area.They are vulnerable to being killed,tortured,forced labour.Their uncertain future become even worse when they have no one to look after their daily needs.At present,these orphans live with some generous villagers who are already poor to help taking care of them.It is preferable to bring these kids together and live under one roof so that dedicated caretaker could easily oversee them.

I contacted school coordinator for an estimated cost of building a house for these orphan.It will be an easy ,one storey,semiwooden-cement house with a few rooms in it so that girls and boys can be separated.An estimated cost of materials and labour is around Thai Baht 75000 or equivalent to around 16666 HK $. I informed the school coordinator that I would try my best to raise this fund but not sure If it would cover all expenses.I dream that this orphanage home would be named Little Angel House to commemorate the help from CX flight attendants, their friends and family.They are truly angel !!

โรงเรียนเด็กกำพร้าดอยไตแลง

โรงเรียนนี้ตั้งอยู่ชายแดนไทย-พม่า ด้านอำเภอปางมะผ้า จังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน ตัวโรงเรียนตั้งอยู่บนสันเขา มีนักเรียนราว 700 คน ส่วนที่เป็นเด็กกำพร้ามีราว 250 คน เด็กส่วนใหญ่มาจากหมู่บ้านใกล้เคียงกับโรงเรียน มีเด็กจากหลายเชื้อชาติ เผ่าพันธ์ เช่น มูเซอหรือลาหู่ ปะหล่อง ว้า และไทยใหญ่ โรงเรียนมีการเรียนการสอนทั้งสิ้น 4 ภาษาคือ ไทย อังกฤษ พม่า และไทยใหญ่ นอกจากนั้นมีการสอนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ ภูมิศาสตร์ วิทยาศาสตร์ เป็นต้น เนื่องจากเป็นโรงเรียนชายแดนที่รับเอาเด็กจากทุกชนเผ่า ดังนั้นไม่ใช่เด็กทุกคนจะมีสัญชาติ การช่วยเหลือจากรัฐบาลไทยเป็นไปอย่างจำกัด มี NGO บางหน่วยงานที่ยื่นมือไปช่วยเหลือ แต่ก็ยังขาดแคลนอยู่หลายอย่าง นักเรียนที่เข้ามาเรียนโรงเรียนนี้จะได้เรียนโดยไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่ายใดๆทั้งสิ้น เด็กๆไม่ต้องใส่เครื่องแบบไปเรียน โรงเรียนจัดอาหารกลางวันให้ ส่วนอุปกรณ์การเรียนนั้นก็ได้รับบริจาคจากหลายกลุ่มที่มีจิตเมตตาช่วยเหลือ รวมทั้งกลุ่มของพวกเราที่นำสิ่งของไปช่วยในครั้งนี้ครับ การช่วยเหลือเด็กยากไร้ในโครงการที่เราช่วยกันอยู่นี้ อยากเน้นย้ำว่า ไม่ได้จำกัดอยู่ที่เด็กไทยเท่านั้น ลำพังเด็กไทยที่เข้าโรงเรียนรัฐบาล ก็ได้รับการช่วยเหลือจากรัฐบาลอยู่แล้ว แต่เด็กชายขอบบางพื้นที่นั้น พวกเขาจะลำบากมาก การช่วยเหลือครั้งนี้จึงเป็นไปแบบไร้พรมแดน ไม่แบ่งเชื้อชาติ สัญชาติ หรือศาสนาครับ

Doi Tailaeng School for Orphan

Pang Ma Pha District,Mae Hong Son,Thailand

The school is located at the Thailand-Myanmar mountainous border area. The languages taught at Doi Tailaeng School are in Thai, English, Burmese and Shan.Mathematics, Geography and Science are also included. The majority of students are from villages nearby school. Over two hundreds out of 700 students are orphan which consist of children from different ethnic groups such as Lahu, Palaung, Wa and Shan. Most of them are children that fled from the war-torn area, neighboring country. Helps from the Thai government is limited due to their undocumented status in nationality. Some of the help are from NGO groups but insufficient . Students do not have to pay for the school fees. The uniform is not required. Lunch will be provided everyday but student who is not orphan need to bring their own steamed rice from home. Stationeries are donated by different groups of donor including us “HELPSCHOOL” (the 1st program assistant came from CX Thai flight attendants together with their friends and family members).
We would like to emphasize here that HELPSCHOOL would like to offer help to all unfortunate children, either born with or without nationality. Life sometimes is not fair and should not be discriminated. It is God given life that we all should preserve and cherish. HELPSCHOOL’s concept is ‘Love without Borderlines’ for all unfortunate children.

เพิ่งได้แว่นสายตาใส่เมื่อราวๆหนึ่งปีที่ผ่านมา มีผู้ใจบุญถวายปัจจัยเพื่อตัดแว่นสายตาครับ

โรงเรียนวัดฟ้าเวียงอินทร์

โรงเรียนนี้ตั้งอยู่ภายในวัดฟ้าเวียงอินทร์ บ้านหลักแต่ง ต.เปียงหลวง อ.เวียงแหง จ.เชียงใหม่ ครับ นักเรียนของโรงเรียนนี้เป็รเณรและพระรวมทั้งสิ้น ราว 60 รูปครับ มีเด็กวัดอยู่ 1 คน คุณครู 5 คน มีการเรียนการสอนทั้งทางโลกย์และทางธรรม เณรและพระเหล่านี้เป็นเด็กยากจนและหลายรูปที่กำพร้าพ่อหรือแม่ บางรูปกำพร้าทั้งพ่อและแม่ การไปเยี่ยมโรงเรียนครั้งที่ผ่านมามิได้นำอุปกรณ์การเรียนการสอนไปถวายแต่อย่างใด แต่ได้นำของจำพวกผ้าครองของพระและเณร รวมทั้งฟูกนอนไปถวายตามคำแนะนำของคุณครูที่นั่นเนื่องจากช่วงที่ผ่านมามีอากาศหนาวเย็นตลอดวัน ผ้าครองของนักเรียนพระและเณรเหล่านี้ไม่เพียงพอ อีกทั้งฟูกนอนยังมีสภาพเก่า ปัจจัยเหล่านี้เองทำให้พระและเณรหลายรูปล้มป่วย สภาพการอยู่กันอย่างแออัดทำให้เป็นโรคติดต่อกันได้ง่ายโดยเฉพาะโรคทางเดินหายใจ หากท่านใดมีจิตรเมตตาอยากช่วยเหลือในรูปแบบใดๆสามารถติดต่อผมได้ หรือติดต่อโดยตรงได้ที่คุณครูครับ ชื่อ ครูออ เบอร์มือถือ 085-7052202 สำหรับการช่วยเหลือครั้งต่อไปจะนำเครื่องเขียนไปถวายครับ

Fah Wiang Inn Temple School

This extraordinary school located at Lak Taeng village,Piang Luang,Wiang Haeng District,Chiang Mai,Thailand.The school itself is just meters away from Mynmar territory.The temple compound occupied both Thai and Mynmar land.Both Buddhist study and government cirricula are taught to 66 novice and monk students with the help of 5 teachers.These students are underprivileged and displaced. Many of them are orphan.We presented 66 sets of robe and mattresses during our first visit as advised by the teacher who is taking care of their well being .Winter could be very chilly as the temperature could drop to 10 degree celcious.The unhygenic shabby mattress has caused all kinds of sickness, such as skin infection, rashes and allergies.
